God – God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The three are co-equal and are one God.

Jesus Christ – Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

The Holy Spirit – The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, purification of our hearts, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift when they are saved. As Christians we seek to live under his control daily.

The Bible – The Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it reveals the will of God in all things necessary for our salvation.

Human Beings – People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude that separates people from God and causes many problems in life.

Sin – We believe that sin came into the world through the disobedience of our first parents and death by sin. We believe that sin is of two kinds. Original sin is that sin inherited from Adam – a bent toward doing what is wrong. Personal sin is a voluntary violation of a known law of God.

Salvation – Salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness, can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith, we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

Sanctification – We believe that entire sanctification is that act of God, following salvation, by which believers are made free from original sin and brought into a state of entire devotion to God.

The Church – We believe in the church, the community that confesses Jesus Christ as Lord. The mission of the Church in the world is to continue the redemptive work of Christ.

Baptism – We believe that Christian baptism, commanded by Jesus Christ, is a sacrament signifying acceptance of the benefits of the atonement of Jesus Christ, and is to be administered to believers as declarative of their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior.  Since baptism is a symbol of the new covenant (New Testament), young children may be baptized, upon request of parents or guardians who give assurance for them of committed Christian training.

The Lord’s Supper – We believe that the Memorial and Communion Supper instituted by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is essentially a New Testament Sacrament, declaring His sacrificial death by which we have life and salvation. Taking the Sacrament is a reminder that we receive Christ’s living presence.

Divine Healing – We believe that God still heals people miraculously and encourage prayer for the sick. We also believe that part of God’s healing comes through the knowledge He has provided in medical science.

Eternity – People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence.

The Second Coming of Jesus Christ – We believe that Jesus Christ will come again.

Resurection, Judgement and Destiny – We believe in the resurrection of the dead. We believe in future judgment in which every person shall appear before God to be judged according to his deeds in this life. We believe that everlasting life is assured to all who believe in and obediently follow Jesus Christ.
