Prayer Chain – At Prairie Oak, we believe that God is concerned about all of the needs and concerns of each of our lives, and that he moves in response to the requests of those who care for us. We would be honored to bring your request before God in prayer.
Urgent Prayer Concerns – Trained prayer ministers are available each weekend after services to pray with you regarding any need that you have personally or for someone you know. If you would like someone to pray with you, please contact an usher or ask at the welcome center, and they will connect you with the prayer team.
Healing Prayer – Sometimes the difficulties we experience in life can be overwhelming and cause deep emotional pain or inner hurts that linger. Just as we should seek healing for physical pain in life, Jesus invites us to come to Him and allow Him to heal us of negative emotions and perceptions such as guilt, shame, fear or any number of ways we could live that fall short of the abundance and joy he has planned for us. Jeanne Haus, our pastoral ministry coordinator has experience and training in a number of methods that can be useful in order to help you overcome severe hurts or difficult experiences in your life. Contact the church office if you have questions about this short-term prayer ministry.
Pastoral Appointments – Prairie Oak does not offer long-term counseling. Our Pastoral Staff are available to schedule one-time or short-term appointments with you if you have any personal spiritual questions or concerns, or need some guidance on making use of the resources available at this church or in the community. This type of appointment normally consists of listening and prayer along with an assessment of needs and a referral to an appropriate outside resource if needed. Contact the church office to make an appointment.
